Welcome to Scroll Block. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Scroll Block mobile application (the "Service"). Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all the terms of this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.

The Service is operated by Asheesh, an individual developer. Scroll Block encourages physical activity by requiring users to perform exercises (such as pushups) or earn steps in order to unlock screen time on other applications.

3. What Information We Collect

Scroll Block is designed to work without an account. We do not ask you to register, and we do not collect your name, email address, or login credentials.

3.1 Data Processed On Your Device

Scroll Block processes the following information locally on your device. It is stored on-device (including in a shared app group used by the app and its extensions) and is not transmitted to us or to any server we control:

• Exercise & Activity Data: Pushup counts, earned and spent screen-time budget, streaks, and related session metrics.
• App Selection & Screen Time Data: Through Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls / Managed Settings / Device Activity) framework, the Service accesses the apps you choose to block and their usage so it can enforce your screen-time limits. We do not collect information about specific content viewed within those external applications, and this data does not leave your device.

3.2 Camera & Exercise Detection (Our Core Feature)

• How We Use the Camera: Scroll Block uses your device's front camera to detect and count pushups through on-device body-pose (landmark) detection. This verifies exercise completion so you can earn screen time.
• Explicit Consent: Before accessing your camera, we request your permission through the standard iOS camera prompt. You may withdraw this permission at any time in your device's Settings.
• No Face or Video Data Retained:
  • Processed locally: The camera feed used to verify exercises is processed entirely on your device. No video or image is recorded, stored, or uploaded.
  • Nothing retained: Pose landmarks are processed in real time and immediately discarded. We do not retain images, landmarks, or biometric identifiers.
  • No biometric identification: We do not use landmarks to uniquely identify you, and we do not perform facial recognition.
  • Only the resulting pushup count (a simple number) is used, and it stays on your device.

3.3 Apple Health Data

If you grant permission, Scroll Block reads your step count from Apple Health so that steps can be traded for screen time. This data is read on your device and is not uploaded to us or shared with third parties. You can revoke Health access at any time in the Apple Health app or your device's Settings.

3.4 Subscription & Purchase Data

Subscriptions are processed by the Apple App Store and managed through our subscription provider, RevenueCat. When you purchase or restore a subscription, RevenueCat processes purchase and subscription status data along with an app-generated anonymous identifier and basic device information, so we can verify and manage your entitlement. We do not receive your Apple ID, name, or payment card details from this process.
