Welcome to calmhead (“we,” “our,” or “us”), developed by Nihar Sai. calmhead is an iPhone app that helps you log migraine episodes and review personal patterns from your own history, optional Apple Health samples, and local weather.
calmhead is designed around on-device storage and your personal iCloud account. We do not operate a calmhead account system, and we do not run a first-party cloud database that we can log into to view your journal. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles, where it is processed, and the choices available to you.
Depending on how you use calmhead, you may enter:
These records may reveal health information. They are stored on your device using Apple’s on-device storage technologies and, if you are signed in to iCloud with iCloud Drive / CloudKit enabled for this app, in your private iCloud container (iCloud.com.niharsai.calmhead). That copy is associated with your Apple ID, not with a calmhead account. We do not sell this information.
You do not need to create a calmhead account or provide an email address or phone number to use the app.
If you choose to connect Apple Health and grant permission, calmhead may:
Health access is optional. calmhead remains usable without it. You control which Health categories the app can access and may change or revoke access at any time in iOS Settings or the Health app.
Health data you authorize is read from HealthKit for display inside calmhead and may be copied into a snapshot attached to a journal entry you save. That snapshot is stored with your journal on device and in your private iCloud, if iCloud sync is enabled. Health data is not sent to us, RevenueCat, advertisers, or analytics providers.
Deleting journal entries in calmhead does not delete source records in Apple Health. Manage those separately in the Health app. Learn more from Apple’s Health App & Privacy information.
If you allow Location While Using the App, calmhead uses your approximate current location (hundred-meter accuracy) while the app is open to:
